Tune-ups

HVAC Maintenance in Sugar Hill, GA

Spring and fall visits that catch the small problems before they turn into a breakdown.

Find the Weak Part Before It Fails

Most breakdowns leave early clues that only show up on a meter. A capacitor reading below its rating. A contactor with pitted contacts. A drain line half full of sludge. A flame sensor coated in residue. None of these stop the system today, but each one can leave you without cooling on a scorching afternoon or without heat on a frozen morning. Maintenance is how we catch them first. Ahead of summer, the cooling half gets our attention: the outdoor coil washed, the condensate line flushed, the electrical parts tested and the refrigerant and airflow numbers logged. Ahead of winter we shift to heat: burners, ignition, the flame sensor, the visible heat exchanger area, the safety switches and the blower. Heat pumps get both treatments since they work all year. Each visit closes out with a new filter and a written summary of what was checked, the numbers we recorded and anything worth keeping an eye on. Nobody asks you to enroll in anything. You call when it is time, and we show up with the checklist.

Inside a Tune-Up

Cooling and heating visits differ a little, but nearly every one covers these.

  • Coil cleaning

Outdoor coil washed and indoor coil inspected so the system can move heat freely.

  • Drain service

Condensate line flushed, pan inspected and float switch tested so water stays where it belongs.

  • Electrical testing

Capacitors, contactors, wiring and terminals tested, with loose connections snugged up.

  • Refrigerant readings

Pressures and temperatures logged so a slow leak or low charge shows up early.

  • Airflow check

Blower operation and temperature drop or rise measured across the system.

  • Burner and safety tests

Ignition, flame sensor, limit and pressure switches checked on gas furnaces.

  • Fresh filter

Swapped in so air moves freely through the coming season.

  • Written report

Readings, findings and suggestions on paper so you can see how the equipment is holding up.

A Tune-Up, Start to Finish

  1. Pick a time

Call and choose a day that suits you. Visits are available seven days a week, which makes it easier to fit one in before the season turns.

  2. Work the checklist

Item by item, the technician cleans, tests and measures, and stops to show you anything worn or close to giving out.

  3. Get the report

You receive the written findings and a new filter. Any repair we suggest comes with a price, and it is entirely your call.

What Makes Our Tune-Ups Worth It

The same careful checklist works for a family home or a row of rooftop units.

  • Same checklist each time

  • Findings on paper
  • Nothing to sign up for
